Head of Frontend Infrastructure

About the role

Yotpo is seeking a leader to oversee our entire frontend domain and define the architectural standards for our eCommerce marketing platform. You will manage the infrastructure teams responsible for the tools and frameworks that support our global product development.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the frontend organization.
• Manage and mentor frontend engineers within infrastructure and platform groups.
• Set the long-term technology strategy and roadmap for frontend development.
• Create and maintain company-wide standards, guidelines, and development practices.
• Select and integrate modern technologies to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with product, design, and backend leadership to ensure cohesive technical solutions.
• Promote engineering excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management and team leadership.
• Proven track record of leading a technical discipline across an entire organization.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing with React in production.
• Strong background in frontend architecture and building scalable systems.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical standards across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to define technical direction at an organizational level.

Nice to have

• Background in SaaS companies.
• Experience working in startup environments.
• Proficiency with Tailwind, shadcn, and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
• Experience scaling frontend infrastructure within high-growth organizations.
