This position focuses on expanding partnerships with K-12 schools and districts in a designated territory. You will manage the entire sales process, from generating new leads to closing deals, while building strong relationships with educational leaders. The goal is to establish phone-free learning environments that enhance student engagement and outcomes.

What you'll do
- Develop and implement a sales plan for K-12 schools and districts to create new business.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through various outreach methods like cold calling and networking.
- Conduct meetings and presentations, both in-person and virtual, with school administrators and decision-makers.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets by managing your pipeline and executing sales strategies effectively.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other competitive bidding opportunities.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and partnership agreements with potential clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with school leaders and district stakeholders throughout the sales journey.
- Present the value and impact of yondr's solutions through compelling demonstrations.
- Collaborate with existing clients to find referral opportunities and expand market presence.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasts in the CRM system.
- Work closely with implementation, customer success, and account management teams for smooth customer transitions.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and product education to improve effectiveness and industry knowledge.
- Represent yondr at education conferences and events to raise awareness and generate new business.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline development.
- Ability to travel up to 60% for customer meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to travel within your assigned territory.
- A consultative, relationship-focused sales approach with a strong customer-first orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Capacity to build trust and credibility with school administrators and executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and autonomous with excellent follow-through and accountability.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business productivity applications.

Nice to have
- Sales experience within the K-12 education market.
- Experience presenting to school boards, district leadership teams, or educational organizations.

- Experience in solution-based or consultative B2B sales.
