About the role

YLD is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our consultancy team and assist clients in developing high-quality digital products. You will work within a collaborative engineering group to design and maintain scalable backend systems while focusing on long-term project value.

What you'll do

• Design and implement fault-tolerant, scalable backend architectures.
• Build and maintain APIs and SaaS-based services.
• Apply testing strategies including TDD throughout the system lifecycle.
• Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to improve engineering output and efficiency.

Requirements

• Extensive backend engineering experience with Go as your primary language.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with distributed systems and modern infrastructure.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to balance innovative solutions with pragmatic technical choices.
