Contract Solutions Engineer

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will integrate with a banking client during the proof-of-value or implementation phase. Your work involves translating product requirements into functional configurations on the client's platform. You will bridge the gap between regulatory banking needs and live services, documenting your progress with evidence and reporting any platform issues to the core engineering team.

What you'll do

• Convert client needs into transaction rules, event-driven workflows, and platform configurations.
• Collaborate closely with client teams, clearly explaining technical decisions and complex engineering concepts.
• Independently investigate API contracts and client tools to achieve successful integrations.
• Debug issues specific to the client's platform, providing clear reproductions to core engineering.
• Utilize AI-assisted development workflows to enhance speed and maintain high quality.

Requirements

• Ability to understand Go code functionality.
• Strong understanding of fintech, core banking, or regulated financial services.
• Previous experience with core-banking or ledger systems.
• Experience with rules engines, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
• Comfortable working within an AI-assisted or agentic development environment.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and task ownership.
• Strong communication skills for technical explanations and client interactions.
• Confident in presenting during working sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.

Practical notes
