About the role
Join a consultancy focused on helping clients advance their capabilities. You will integrate with a banking client to implement their product needs, acting as a bridge between their regulatory requirements and live services. Your work will be validated with evidence, and you will provide feedback on platform challenges to the main engineering team.
Key facts
What you'll do
Translate client specifications into functional configurations, transaction rules, and event-driven processes on the client's system.
Engage with client teams in collaborative sessions, explaining technical choices and simplifying complex engineering concepts.
Investigate client APIs and tools independently to facilitate integrations.
Troubleshoot issues within the client's existing platform and report detailed findings to the core engineering group.
Utilize AI-assisted development workflows to enhance speed and maintain high quality.
Requirements
Ability to read and understand Go code.
Proficiency in the fintech sector, core banking, or regulated financial services, demonstrating domain knowledge.
Previous experience with core banking systems or ledger technology.
Familiarity with rules engines, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures.
Experience with Kafka or comparable event streaming technologies.
Comfortable working within an AI-assisted or agentic development environment.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions.
Demonstrated ability to present technical information clearly and confidently.
A proactive and ownership-oriented approach to tasks.
A commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
Capacity to make sound judgments and deliver results in dynamic and uncertain situations.
