About the role
You will own the end to end commercial and operational strategy for the publisher supply ecosystem at Wunderkind. This role requires you to drive sustainable revenue growth for premium publisher partners while maximizing their yield and monetization outcomes. You will serve as the strategic lead for the Publisher Partnerships sub-org and act as a foundational voice in corporate headcount planning. Your focus will be on structural marketplace shifts and long term supply path optimization rather than daily tactical execution. You will direct a high performing multi disciplinary team and ensure the publisher division aligns with evolving marketplace trends.

What you'll do
Define and execute a comprehensive multi year go to market strategy for the Publisher Partnerships sub organization identifying new market segments and platform integrations.
Oversee and guide the Business Development Sales team consisting of 3 headcount to establish high value long term partnerships with premium digital publishers.
Provide top tier commercial support during high stakes contract negotiations and custom commercial pricing structuring within the programmatic marketplace.
Direct the commercial growth agenda by setting pipeline targets ownership metrics and performance management for the publisher partnerships org.
Synthesize programmatic market trends competitive intelligence and publisher yield metrics to steer internal product development feedback loops.
Act as a principal voice in seasonal and annual headcount planning to align organizational talent with scaling revenue opportunities.
Champion supply path optimization initiatives and lead strategic discussions around long term publisher monetization frameworks.
Serve as the primary strategic leader ensuring our publisher division remains aligned with rapidly evolving marketplace trends and demand dynamics.
Drive the execution of performance management frameworks that keep the publisher division accountable to revenue and yield goals.
Act as the key liaison between publisher partners and internal product teams to ensure feedback is translated into actionable roadmap items.

Maintain rigorous standards for data integrity and brand safety within the publisher ecosystem through strategic oversight.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
You must bring a minimum of ten years of experience in relevant fields directly related to digital advertising or media partnerships.
You must have at least five years of experience in a leadership role managing teams of three or more direct reports.
You must demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing go to market strategies in a programmatic advertising environment.
You must have deep experience with supply path optimization and monetization strategies for premium publisher inventory.
You must be comfortable operating in a fast paced startup environment while maintaining rigorous strategic planning discipline.
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills to influence executive stakeholders and partner teams.
You must be highly analytical capable of synthesizing complex market data into actionable strategic decisions.
You must be willing to report directly to the General Manager Ads and align closely with corporate leadership on organizational priorities.
Nice to have
Experience with brand safety and viewability measurement within programmatic campaigns.
Familiarity with premium publisher ecosystems and yield optimization techniques.
Knowledge of programmatic bidding strategies and marketplace dynamics.
Practical notes
This role is based in New York and requires in person presence.
Travel may be required as part of the role responsibilities.
