About the role
Wunderkind is seeking a Senior Customer Success Manager focused on the publisher channel within a hybrid office environment based in New York. In this role, you will act as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of publishing partners, guiding them through the entire lifecycle of the relationship. A core part of your ownership involves safeguarding brand safety standards while simultaneously helping partners navigate intricate digital advertising supply paths and inventory strategies. You will leverage a deep curiosity for analytics to transform complex data patterns into actionable narratives that empower publisher teams to achieve measurable growth. The position requires a hybrid schedule, with a commitment to working 2 to 3 days per week from the New York office to facilitate collaboration and strategic planning.
Key facts
The role is based in New York and offers remote flexibility for eligible work activities. The engagement model is defined as hybrid, necessitating 2 to 3 days of in-office presence each week to align with team objectives. The total compensation package for this position includes a base salary of $130,000, with an on-target earnings (OTE) projection of $150,000, reflecting the value of the role.
What you'll do
You will establish and own the agenda for all publisher interactions, confirming strategic goals and key performance indicators before every critical meeting.
You will analyze campaign behavior across integrated platforms such as Salesforce and Looker to uncover trends, anomalies, and specific opportunities for revenue uplift.
You will craft clear, data-driven narratives and design presentation slides that explain current performance metrics and outline concrete next moves for stakeholders.
You will guide digital advertising campaigns through structured testing phases, meticulously documenting every variable change to ensure clarity and alignment across the internal team.
You will act as a central hub for cross-functional coordination, connecting with engineering and sales departments to resolve operational blockers and keep joint projects on schedule.
You will author comprehensive playbooks and operational guides that assist publisher partners in managing their inventory effectively and improving overall fill rates.
You will conduct periodic account health reviews, synthesizing findings to align publisher priorities with overarching executive goals and growth initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with product management teams to provide strategic feedback, shaping the development of features that enhance the publisher workflow and user experience.
You will translate complex, technical aspects of ad serving and data collection into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders during high-stakes discussions.
You will take full ownership of assigned publisher accounts, acting as both a trusted expert and a proactive strategist who anticipates needs and solves problems.
You will maintain a relentless curiosity, dedicating time to continuous learning as advertising products, policies, and platform rules evolve at a rapid pace.
You will exercise extreme diligence in protecting sensitive project details and confidential information while simultaneously managing multiple deadlines with a focus on accuracy.

Requirements
You will possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience working directly with digital publishers, with a specific focus on programmatic monetization strategies.
You will demonstrate the ability to read complex data sets fluently and construct reports that translate findings into clear decisions that drive client outcomes.
You will have hands-on experience with core martech tools, including Salesforce, Monday.com, Jira, and Looker, using them comfortably in a daily workflow.
You will have a proven track record of communicating clearly and effectively in writing and during verbal discussions, particularly in high-stakes, pressure-filled scenarios.
You will take initiative in owning end-to-end account management, balancing the roles of strategist, expert, and day-to-day problem solver for your partners.
You will show a consistent commitment to curiosity and adaptability, maintaining a learning mindset as ad technology, products, and industry regulations change quickly.
You will exhibit strong discretion and judgment, protecting sensitive project details across numerous concurrent initiatives while adhering to strict deadlines and accuracy standards.
