About the role
Workstream is building an integrated HR, payroll, and hiring platform to support the 2.7 billion hourly workers globally. We are a Series B company backed by investors including Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue, serving major brands like Burger King, IHOP, and KFC.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage a network of hundreds to thousands of people to collect video data and drive workforce motivation.
- Oversee the end-to-end development of a video data platform from initial concept to scale.
- Build systems to collect, organize, label, and manage thousands of hours of video data.
- Lead large-scale operational initiatives including process design and optimization.
- Partner with senior leadership to turn strategic opportunities into execution plans.
- Align product, engineering, sales, and operations teams to deliver key initiatives.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and improve workflows.
- Create scalable systems, processes, and playbooks to support company growth.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
- Communicate progress and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Define goals and structure for ambiguous, 0 to 1 problem spaces.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in operations, strategy, product, finance, consulting, or high-growth startups.
- Proven history of owning and delivering complex, cross-functional projects with measurable business impact.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to design processes from scratch.
- Ability to make high-quality decisions with incomplete or evolving information.
- Analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes.
- Ability to quickly learn technical domains such as AI, data platforms, or robotics.
Nice to have
- Experience managing large, distributed workforces or marketplaces.
- Exposure to AI data, model evaluation, or technical services delivery.
- Background in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
Skills & tools
- Operations, strategy, product management, data analysis, process design, stakeholder management, AI/data platform familiarity.
Practical notes
- Salary: $90,000 to $180,000 base salary, excluding discretionary bonus and equity.
- Benefits: 95% of medical, dental, and vision premiums covered for employees; 85% for dependents.
