About the role
Workstream is building an integrated HR, payroll, and hiring platform designed specifically for the global hourly workforce. As a Series B startup backed by investors like Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue, we are scaling our product to serve major brands such as KFC, IHOP, and Burger King.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and vision for a core product area.
- Define success metrics and translate business goals into actionable product plans.
- Conduct customer discovery and market research to validate hypotheses.
- Write detailed product specifications, user stories, and UX requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to ship features.
- Manage relationships with external partners like job boards and integration providers.
- Present strategy and performance updates to leadership and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in SaaS, growth, or marketplace settings.
- Proven history of taking products from concept to launch (0 to 1) and iteration (1 to N).
- Experience with both Go-To-Market and product-led growth strategies.
- Background working in high-growth startups with fewer than 500 employees.
- Ability to analyze data and define success criteria for complex features.
- Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in HR tech, payroll, scheduling, hiring, or workforce management.
- Background in industries like hospitality, retail, or restaurant operations.
- Familiarity with job board ecosystems and platform integrations.
- Experience managing distributed or offshore engineering teams.
- Growth product management experience.
