About the role

Workstream is building an integrated platform for payroll, hiring, and HR specifically for the hourly workforce. We are looking for a strategic partner to help scale our Series B company into a global enterprise.

What you'll do

• Partner with the CEO to set corporate strategy and manage the executive team.
• Align departments including Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, and People to improve growth velocity.
• Design and implement operating models, including OKRs and business reviews.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and create workflows to increase decision-making speed.
• Collaborate on annual operating plans, resource allocation, and corporate budgeting.
• Assist with investor relations and prepare materials for the Board of Directors.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams while maintaining a culture of accountability.
• Lead special projects and market expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of executive leadership experience in business operations, corporate strategy, or general management at technology firms.
• Demonstrated success scaling B2B SaaS companies through major growth phases like Series B to Series D or IPO.
• Experience overseeing multiple functions including commercial, operational, and corporate teams.
• Strong financial literacy regarding SaaS metrics, capital allocation, and corporate governance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage diverse global teams.
• Experience bringing structure to ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a COO, President, GM, or VP of Operations at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Background in vertical SaaS, payroll, HR tech, or workforce management.
• Experience managing international entities and distributed global teams.
• Familiarity with fundraising, M&A, or corporate development.
