Director, Product Management

About the role

Workato is seeking a strategic leader to define the vision for our AI-first platform experience. You will oversee the end-to-end interface layer, focusing on increasing AI adoption by transforming how users build, discover, and operate workflows and agents.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a product strategy that positions Workato as an enterprise AI runtime.
• Design frictionless onboarding flows and personal workspaces to accelerate user activation.
• Build intelligent discovery systems for AI templates, agent blueprints, and reusable components.
• Modernize the builder experience to integrate AI directly into the workflow creation surface.
• Create frameworks for sharing, version control, and lineage tracking to encourage internal reuse.
• Expand the marketplace ecosystem with new AI skills, automation packs, and certification systems.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, AI research, and go-to-market teams to align product delivery with business goals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in product management, specifically within developer platforms, enterprise SaaS, or programmable workflow tools.
• Minimum 10 years in senior product leadership roles managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving adoption through platform experience redesign and UX transformation.
• Technical proficiency in APIs, SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and workflow-as-code.
• Direct experience delivering AI-powered products, such as LLM integrations, agent-based systems, or conversational interfaces.
• Understanding of enterprise-grade security, identity management, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to balance rapid innovation with the reliability requirements of large organizations.
