About the role

Wonderschool is seeking a product lead to manage our financial infrastructure and payment systems. You will guide the strategy for a platform that handles over $3 billion in volume, focusing on simplifying complex legacy integrations into a unified, efficient architecture.

What you'll do

• Manage the product roadmap for banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, payroll, and internal billing systems.
• Replace fragmented legacy payment integrations with a streamlined and reliable platform.
• Coordinate with fintech partners to oversee integration, reconciliation, and tracking processes.
• Engage directly with users to identify pain points in how money moves through our system.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop, deploy, and refine product features.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with relevant laws and industry regulations.
• Take full accountability for performance metrics, including system reliability and user outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Product Manager with a focus on payments.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5-6 days per week.
• High level of precision and attention to detail.
• Comfort navigating the regulatory requirements of banking and card services.
• Proven ability to build products alongside engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to solve problems independently.
