About the role
The is a pivotal position within the newly established Global People Support Hub, a role critical to the success of our operations in both Budapest, Hungary, and Timisoara, Romania. In this capacity, you will own the entire lifecycle of complex employee inquiries, demonstrating a high level of ownership from the initial intake of a request to its final resolution and sign-off. A core component of your responsibilities will involve interpreting intricate daily HR questions and actively coaching colleagues on the effective use of self-service tools to foster independence. You will serve as the designated expert for designing and maintaining accurate, employment-related documentation, including the creation and oversight of Employment Agreements. Furthermore, you will act as a vigilant guardian of data integrity, ensuring that all records within Workday, our primary HR system, are precise, up-to-date, and reliable. This role requires close collaboration with Payroll to safeguard the accuracy and timeliness of salary processing, from creating employment records to managing the onboarding workflow. You will also support fellow People Specialists by handling escalated matters and contributing to cross-country initiatives, thereby playing a key role in improving our HR processes and the overall service experience for the Wolt community.

What you'll do
- Interpret complex daily HR inquiries and coach colleagues on effective self-service practices to reduce ticket volume.
- Own complex cases from initial intake through to final resolution and sign-off, ensuring complete ownership and accountability.
- Design clear, accurate, and legally compliant employment-related documents such as Employment Agreements and internal communications.
- Serve as a guardian of data integrity by maintaining precise, consistent, and accurate records within Workday, the company's primary HR system.
- Coordinate closely with the Payroll team to guarantee on-time and accurate salary processing and payroll adjustments.
- Create and manage employment records within Workday to ensure new hires have a smooth, correct, and compliant onboarding experience.
- Support People Specialists by handling escalated matters and contributing to cross-country projects and initiatives with our Budapest-based team.
- Actively chase down missing information to keep employee records clean, organized, and up to date.
- Identify recurring issues and bottlenecks to help improve HR processes, policies, and the overall service experience for Wolt employees.
- Utilize structured methods and digital systems to answer employee questions with energy and a customer-first mindset.
- Maintain a high level of curiosity and a passion for learning to adapt to the evolving needs of a rapidly scaling global tech company.
- Demonstrate a commitment to daily problem-solving and continuous improvement in all HR-related tasks and interactions.
Requirements
- You must have a genuine passion for making a difference through HR and a customer-first approach to service delivery.
- You should possess a background in HR studies or relevant practical experience that demonstrates a foundational understanding of HR principles.
- You must have fluency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with a global workforce.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively across borders and time zones is critical.
- You are a self-starter who commits to daily learning and problem-solving with a calm, determined attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- You must have an interest in technology and AI, as you will work within a modern digital environment that leverages these tools.
- You must be detail-obsessed and capable of managing multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- You must be authorized to work in the country of the position location, with proof required at the time of offer.

Practical notes
- Compensation is specified as 3500 EUR gross monthly.
- Engagement is Full-time, hybrid with a minimum of 2 office days per week.
