Third Party Risk Management Specialist

About the role

You will act as the primary point of contact for designated business units to manage and coordinate third party risk activities. This position focuses on maintaining and improving our risk framework through hands-on oversight of vendor relationships and internal compliance.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Perform proactive risk assessments to identify and prioritize threats from third party partners.
• Manage the full lifecycle of due diligence and external surveys, including monitoring and closing assessment gaps.
• Define and track key performance indicators and service level agreements to ensure vendor quality.
• Execute exit strategies for vendor contracts to ensure secure data transfers and service transitions.
• Coordinate directly with internal relationship owners and external providers to maintain compliance and resolve performance issues.

Requirements

• Proven background in overseeing or managing vendor and third party risk processes.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
• Ability to work across internal departments including legal, information security, and business operations.
• High level of organization and precision when handling complex technical documentation.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently in a high-speed environment with shifting priorities.

Practical notes
