Technical Solutions and Implementation Lead, Third Party Management & Procurement

About the role

You will manage the systems governing how Wise handles third-party vendor onboarding, contract execution, and procurement approvals. This position focuses on improving operational workflows through hands-on platform configuration and technical integration rather than traditional software development.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain non-code platforms, including the setup of routing logic, approval workflows, templates, and automation rules.
• Translate business needs into technical build plans that account for data models, audit requirements, and system permissions.
• Manage API-based integrations with internal teams, including finance and risk, while handling data mapping and troubleshooting.
• Oversee the full release lifecycle, from user acceptance testing and rollout planning to incident management and root-cause analysis.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for your platforms by maintaining documentation and training stakeholders to reduce dependency on external support.

Requirements

• Proven track record of hands-on administration and configuration of enterprise tools in a production environment.
• Ability to work with API documentation to define payloads, map fields, and manage authentication methods like OAuth and API keys.
• Experience applying systems thinking to understand how changes in one tool affect downstream reporting, controls, and audit trails.
• Demonstrated discipline in managing safe releases through structured testing, rollout strategies, and monitoring.
• Strong operational mindset capable of triaging issues, performing root-cause analysis, and maintaining system runbooks.

Nice to have

• Background in procurement, contract lifecycle management, third-party risk, or finance systems.
• Familiarity with webhooks, SSO, data synchronization patterns, and integration monitoring.
• Experience generating actionable reporting from complex or imperfect data sources.
