Senior Software Engineer

About the role

You will build and maintain a platform that allows internal teams to rapidly experiment with and deploy Generative AI systems. Your work involves creating tools, guardrails, and guidance to ensure the safety of customer data while driving innovation across the company.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain services and libraries that support the Generative AI ecosystem.
• Implement observability and service management to ensure system availability and security.
• Collaborate with product teams to move ideas into production environments.
• Design and implement distributed systems while balancing synchronous and asynchronous architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate feedback loops within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with a focus on Python in production environments.
• Proficiency in writing clean, scalable code with a strong grasp of test coverage and the test pyramid.
• Experience deploying microservices to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs and the development of LLM-based applications.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and the design of agentic workflows.
• Expertise in prompt engineering best practices.
• Ability to build consensus, communicate technical plans clearly, and work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, including building performant UIs or using AI frameworks.
• Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of RAG workflows, semantic search, and MCP servers.
• Understanding of payment platforms, foreign exchange, and complex systems architecture.
