About the role
Wise Business is a rapidly expanding division focused on transforming how companies manage their finances. We are seeking a leader to drive our Accounting Integrations and Reporting team by automating bookkeeping and connecting our platform to global financial ecosystems.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop core platforms that automate multi-currency financial administration and bookkeeping tasks.
- Integrate Wise directly into accounting systems to reduce manual reconciliation and reporting for our business customers.
- Collaborate with engineering to manage API implementations and data synchronization models.
- Balance long-term product strategy with the technical requirements of complex backend systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features while maintaining a fast development pace.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, specifically with launches that required balancing user experience with backend infrastructure.
- Strong technical literacy regarding APIs, data flows, and the impact of sync models on user experience.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, including ledgers, reconciliation, cash flow management, and bookkeeping workflows.
- Ability to empathize with the operational challenges faced by small business owners, accountants, and finance teams.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle.
Nice to have
- Experience working within B2B SaaS, fintech, or software integration development.
- Familiarity with major accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or DATEV.
