About the role

Wise is seeking a media relations specialist to manage communications across Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. You will focus on establishing a brand presence in new markets while executing daily PR operations and creative storytelling.

What you'll do

• Launch the Thailand press office by researching the media landscape and building relationships with key journalists.
• Identify and execute newsjacking opportunities related to finance, travel, and cultural trends.
• Create content for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to generate earned attention.
• Manage day-to-day media relations for Indonesia and Hong Kong, including coordination with external agencies.
• Collaborate with the regional marketing department on product launches and integrated campaigns.
• Track, measure, and report on the performance of PR initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in public relations or media relations.
• Ability to write compelling stories and identify newsworthy angles beyond standard product announcements.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and handle execution-heavy tasks.
