Senior Payment Operations Analyst

About the role

Join our Payment Operations team in Tallinn to refine how we manage global fund transfers. You will focus on building data models and forecasting tools that help us optimize operational capacity and resolve customer friction points.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain efficient data pipelines to improve the quality of our data assets.
• Create forecasting models to predict future operational capacity and workload demand.
• Identify and track key performance metrics to ensure accountability throughout each quarter.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and visual reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytics standards across the company.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and experience designing complex data models from scratch.
• Strong quantitative background in fields such as mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or computing.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders to drive business change.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Capacity to work independently, structure business problems, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be based in Tallinn or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience in the FinTech sector, specifically regarding domestic, cross-border, or card payments.
• Background in operational analytics and forecasting.
• Experience working with user-facing product data.
• Proficiency in Python or dbt.
