About the role

Join the North America Payment Operations team in Austin to refine and scale our USD and CAD payment infrastructure. You will function as a bridge between engineering, product, and operations to automate manual workflows and improve system efficiency.

What you'll do

• Audit existing USD and CAD payment routes to find and remove manual bottlenecks.
• Design and implement automation tools and workflow upgrades.
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initial scoping and data analysis to final deployment.
• Define and track performance metrics using SQL and LightDash.
• Act as the North American subject matter expert for payment incidents and regulatory changes.
• Establish service level agreements and performance indicators for new product features.
• Provide mentorship to Senior Specialists regarding project execution and scoping.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering mid-sized projects alongside engineering or product teams.
• Documented history of improving products or services.
• Formal training or certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Ability to independently identify process gaps and drive solutions to completion.
• Experience using BI tools like Looker to build dashboards and extract data.
• Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders ranging from specialists to senior leadership.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work from the Austin office at least 3 days per week.
