Senior iOS Engineer II

About the role

Join the Account Mobile team to refine the interface and functionality of the Wise app for our global user base. You will work within a cross-functional group to build features that help customers manage their money across borders.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute feature development for native applications to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and data analysts to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Maintain the long-term health and stability of the iOS codebase.
• Coordinate with mobile peers to keep the app updated with modern technologies and platform standards.
• Write efficient, clean code to ensure high performance and fast load times.

Requirements

• Demonstrated history of shipping mobile applications that provide high user value.
• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
• Commitment to writing testable, high-quality code.
• Understanding of REST API integration.
• Product-focused mindset with an ability to make decisions based on user data.
• Clear communication skills for explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance independent problem-solving with team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI or Structured Concurrency.
• Background in managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with internationalization for multi-market applications.
• Previous experience in the fintech industry.
