About the role

Join the Payin team to manage the initial stage of the Wise customer experience by handling how funds enter our system. You will work across the full stack to build and maintain the infrastructure that supports global money transfers.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain API and SFTP integrations for payment processing.
• Develop logic to route users toward optimal payment methods.
• Design interfaces for both single and recurring transactions.
• Collaborate with banking, operations, and product departments to improve payment success rates and transaction volume.
• Explain technical architecture to stakeholders across the company.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Practical experience with the Spring framework and microservices architecture.
• Ability to design database schemas and optimize queries within relational databases.
• Commitment to Test Driven Development and writing maintainable code.
• Strong product focus with a history of making data-informed decisions.
