About the role

Wise is hiring an experienced finance professional to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team in London. You will work closely with Marketing leadership to manage budgets, analyze performance, and guide sustainable growth through data-driven insights.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage Marketing re-forecasting processes to create precise growth and cost projections.
• Refine financial models and reporting structures to produce actionable insights for investment decisions.
• Track marketing performance metrics like ROI and CPA to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Advise Marketing leads on their cost base and performance to facilitate informed decision making.

Requirements

• Demonstrated finance experience supporting marketing departments and senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of marketing investment principles and performance evaluation.
• Background in developing financial models and managing end to end cost analysis.
• Experience with cost control implementation and ongoing spend monitoring.
• Technical proficiency in BI tools and SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Strong project management and communication skills to simplify complex data for diverse groups.
• Ability to handle both high-level strategy and daily operational tasks in an agile setting.
• Resilience and adaptability when managing ambiguous tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Anaplan, Workday, or Looker.
