Analytics Director, APAC

About the role

Wise is seeking an Analytics Director to guide the APAC squad and shape the product roadmap for this high-growth region. You will manage a team of approximately 10 analysts to ensure data-driven decision-making and strategic planning across diverse markets.

• Define the analytical vision for the APAC region and contribute to the broader global analytics strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 analysts to influence regional product roadmaps.
• Partner with product, banking, and engineering leadership to solve regional challenges.
• Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the impact of product initiatives.
• Foster a culture of data-led decision-making and clear communication of insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and leading analytics functions within fast-paced, global, and scaling organizations.
• Demonstrated success managing teams of 10 or more, including other leads.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable narratives for organizational change.
• Hands-on technical proficiency in SQL and Python or R, with the ability to coach others in these languages.
• Experience co-owning cross-functional projects and aligning teams around shared KPIs.
