About the role

Wildlife Studios is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Insights team and influence the development of our global gaming portfolio. You will work directly with product squads to transform vast amounts of player information into strategic improvements for our titles.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and execute experiments and statistical tests to iterate on game features.
• Examine complex player datasets to guide product strategy, retention efforts, and monetization models.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to address business challenges through automation and custom tooling.
• Optimize core game mechanics such as matchmaking, content personalization, and economic systems.
• Integrate agentic AI and modern technical workflows to increase team output and analytical standards.
• Develop data products and frameworks that support informed decision-making across game teams.

Requirements

• Practical experience with machine learning and applied statistics, specifically in A/B testing and predictive modeling.
• Ability to translate behavioral data into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical partners.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL for independent data extraction and analysis.
• Interest in using AI assistants and LLMs to automate tasks and improve personal efficiency.
• Strong written English skills for documenting findings and communicating with cross-functional teams.
