Senior 2D Game Artist

About the role

Wildlife Studios is looking for a versatile artist to join our team and shape the visual identity of our mobile games. You will work alongside designers and engineers to build immersive worlds and characters that reach millions of players.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Lead the art vision for a core game team while receiving support from art directors and the wider art department.
• Create 2D assets while occasionally contributing to UI, 3D, or animation tasks to support game needs.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams and marketing departments to align art themes with player data.
• Translate game design documents into functional mobile game assets and establish development pipelines.
• Iterate rapidly on visual solutions to improve gameplay and user experience.
• Develop and refine workflows for integrating Gen-AI tools into the production process to maintain quality and consistency.

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating illustration, concept art, and visual storytelling capabilities.
• Professional experience producing art for games, comics, animation, or other entertainment intellectual properties.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop or similar digital painting software.
• Proven ability to incorporate Gen-AI tools into artistic workflows with clear creative direction.
• High or intermediate proficiency in English.
