About the role
Wellhub is seeking an experienced professional to manage our interactions with German Works Councils. You will serve as the primary link between our leadership and employee representatives, ensuring compliance while supporting our organizational growth.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage ongoing relationships with German Works Councils through clear and proactive communication.
- Draft, review, and negotiate works agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen) alongside Legal and internal stakeholders.
- Advise business leaders and HRBPs on co-determination rights and requirements under the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG).
- Provide guidance on organizational changes, policy rollouts, and technical implementations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all negotiations and agreements to ensure compliance.
- Offer expertise on European employee relations topics to support other regional markets.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in German labor relations and co-determination.
- Deep knowledge of German labor law, specifically the BetrVG.
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft works agreements.
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Native-level fluency in German and advanced proficiency in English.
- Mandatory: Prior experience negotiating with German Works Councils.

- Proficiency in French.
