What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, multi-tenant backend services and APIs.
• Develop new product features integrated into the Designer Dashboard and underlying infrastructure.
• Write well-tested, performant, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to technical design documents and influence team priorities.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers in a supportive environment.
• Mentor less experienced engineers on technical skills and company culture.
• Participate in engineering initiatives like writing blog posts and improving hiring processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying web applications.
• Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript, including building scalable services and APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL, Apollo, and MongoDB.
• Ability to debug production issues across various service layers.
• Proven experience building complex web systems.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Business-level fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambdas).
• Familiarity with Kafka.
• Proactive approach to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI.
