Senior Product Manager, Developer Productivity
About the role
Webflow is seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance the developer experience for our engineering teams. You will focus on the systems that empower every Webflow engineer to be more efficient and effective. This role is central to improving our internal platforms and is expected to integrate AI into developer workflows.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and prioritize a roadmap for developer productivity initiatives based on engineering needs and pain points.
- Monitor and report on key metrics to assess developer experience health and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements for CI/CD, build systems, developer environments, and observability.
- Create clear product specifications and requirements to guide engineering efforts.
- Evaluate and advocate for the adoption of AI and agentic tools within developer workflows.
- Communicate platform progress, health, and technical trade-offs to engineering leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Foster strong feedback loops between engineers and the platform team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in product management, with experience in either hands-on software development or directly managing developer experience, developer productivity, or platform products.
- Ability to understand technical architecture and engage in substantive discussions with engineers.
- Familiarity with developer tools such as CI/CD systems, build pipelines, observability platforms, and local development environments.
- Proficiency in developer productivity metrics, including DORA metrics and cycle time.
- Hands-on experience with AI and agentic systems, understanding their application and limitations in developer workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to execute quickly and manage ambiguity.
- Resilience and self-direction, motivated by long-term impact.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly.
- A proactive and curious approach to learning and applying new technologies, particularly AI.

Practical notes
- Compensation for this role is determined by geographic location and includes base pay ranges:
- United States: Zone A ($187,500 - $225,000 USD), Zone B ($176,700 - $212,000 USD), Zone C ($165,000 - $198,000 USD)
- Canada: $204,000 - $245,000 CAD
- This role is eligible for Webflow's company-wide bonus program.
