About the role
This position focuses on the intersection of visual web design and actual code within Webflow. You will guide the development of features that allow users, including AI agents, to extend the platform's capabilities through code. Your work will ensure that both visual and code-based development experiences are harmonized and powerful.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Shape the product direction for code extensibility, serving both human developers and AI coding assistants.
- Lead the roadmap and execution for products enabling code-based extensions within Webflow, such as code components.
- Establish quality standards for developer-grade extensibility, focusing on maintaining consistency between visual and code elements.
- Integrate disparate code-related features into a cohesive and unified user experience.
- Contribute to strategic planning and oversee the delivery of the product roadmap.
- Engage directly with code, including prototyping and technical decision-making.
- Make strategic choices for developer tooling and AI coding that remain relevant as the landscape evolves.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
- A minimum of 5 years in product management, with significant experience in developer-focused or platform products.
- Demonstrable technical understanding, including the ability to reason about code, API design, and abstraction.
- Strong empathy for users and the ability to balance competing needs.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from user research to detailed problem-solving.
- Ability to act as a peer and thought partner, driving initiatives independently.
