Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on critical production systems.
• Strong skills in backend development, system design, and reliability assessment.
• Experience with Kotlin, Kafka, and GraphQL, or similar technologies.
• Proven ability to create low-latency and highly available services.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in code quality and production management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in understanding the financial context of the systems you develop.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or regulated industries, especially in high-growth settings.
• Knowledge of financial ledgers, reconciliation, or related challenges.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and stream processing technologies like Kafka or Flink.
• Understanding of Apollo Federation or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to financial products such as margin, options, futures, or lending.
