What you'll do

• Take ownership of a product area, guiding its development and future direction.
• Build and enhance features across both the user interface and backend systems.
• Address complex technical and regulatory requirements to ensure reliable system performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor colleagues, and help define the team's technical roadmap.
• Experiment with and integrate AI-driven workflows to improve development speed and quality.
• Identify and implement improvements to team processes and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a history of delivering production systems.
• Proficiency working across the full technology stack, including frontend and backend development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, moving beyond basic usage to agentic processes.
• A proactive approach to taking ownership and driving initiatives.
• Enthusiasm for tackling complex problems in regulated environments.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
• A drive to improve processes and systems.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and React Native for frontend development.
• Background in Ruby on Rails for backend services.
• Familiarity with Kotlin or Java.
