About the role
Wealthfront is hiring a Talent Intelligence Analyst to improve our engineering recruitment strategy. You will partner with executive leadership to identify high-quality talent and provide data-driven insights that guide our hiring decisions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create and update talent maps to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant companies, teams, and products.
- Draft conviction packets for candidates that detail their technical achievements, evidence of skill, potential risks, and specific areas for interview focus.
- Justify decisions to exclude specific candidates to ensure hiring efficiency.
- Advise leadership on role structure and requirements using market data.
- Source passive talent by reviewing open source contributions, technical conference presentations, engineering blogs, and published research.
- Analyze talent movement, team growth trends, compensation benchmarks, and skill concentration.
- Develop and refine internal sourcing playbooks, templates, and analytical frameworks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in analytical roles such as executive search, talent intelligence, equity research, consulting, or technical sourcing.
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and understand the downstream effects of hiring decisions.
- Skill in synthesizing disorganized information into clear, actionable reports.
- Proficiency in evaluating technical backgrounds by reviewing GitHub activity, promotion history, and technical writing.
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on specific, evidence-based arguments.
- Ability to maintain professional conviction when collaborating with senior leaders and willingness to challenge hiring partners when necessary.

Practical notes
Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 USD annually plus equity and a discretionary bonus.
