About the role
This position is for a licensed professional who will guide Wealthfront clients through the mortgage application and closing journey. You will utilize our advanced technology and tools to provide exceptional service and ensure a smooth, efficient experience for each client. Your work will directly contribute to modernizing the lending process.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Guide clients through the mortgage application and closing phases, ensuring all necessary data and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, clearly communicating timelines and requirements.
- Manage the timely delivery of initial loan disclosures while adhering to all regulatory mandates.
- Independently manage standard loan files and escalate complex scenarios or guideline interpretations to team leads.
- Ensure all loan originations comply fully with federal and state regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by embodying company values.
Requirements
- Hold a Mortgage Loan Originator License.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo loan guidelines.
- Have a solid understanding of state and federal lending regulations.
- Possess extensive knowledge of customer service best practices and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in wholesale and/or correspondent lending channels.
- Familiarity with state-specific licensing and registration requirements, including NMLS.
- Proficiency with federal and state regulations such as TRID and HMDA.
Skills & tools
- Deep understanding of mortgage loan products and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent organizational abilities, with a capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively influence outcomes across an organization.

- Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
