About the role
Vynca is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor for our Clinical Operations team. This role will focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives within a dynamic, regulated environment. You will manage employee relations, performance, workforce planning, and compliance for a distributed care team.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to integrate people strategies with operational goals and patient outcomes.
- Advise on organizational structure and team design to support growth and quality of care.
- Analyze workforce metrics like turnover and engagement to identify trends and propose solutions.
- Assist with workforce planning, including forecasting staffing needs and succession planning.
- Guide clinical leaders on employee relations, investigations, and performance improvement plans.
- Coach managers on effective feedback delivery and handling employee matters.
- Oversee performance management processes and ensure consistent policy application across multiple states.
- Develop a thorough understanding of clinical roles and their unique challenges.
- Support initiatives to reduce burnout and improve retention for staff working with vulnerable populations.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific regulations.
- Partner with the HR Compliance team on investigations and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or comparable strategic HR role.
- Experience supporting clinical, healthcare, or field-based workforces is essential.
- Proven track record in employee relations, including investigations and performance management in multi-state settings.
- Demonstrated success supporting leaders in fast-paced, growing organizations.
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid distributed teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in ambiguous situations.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret workforce data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Must reside in Colorado, Illinois, Utah, or Texas.
