About the role
Vynca is seeking a dedicated Clinical Manager to lead and support our interdisciplinary care teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care and driving clinical improvements. You will play a key part in shaping our patient experience and contributing to new program development.

What you'll do
- Guide and oversee a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the future of clinical services.
- Spearhead initiatives designed to enhance patient care quality and introduce new service offerings.
- Address and resolve challenges in clinical workflows that affect patient outcomes or operational efficiency.
- Ensure sufficient staffing to meet patient care demands.
- Monitor team performance against key metrics and conduct annual staff evaluations.
- Partner with providers and other professionals to improve patient care and implement process enhancements.
- Offer leadership in areas such as conflict resolution, staff development, and decision-making.
- Provide direct patient care when necessary to support team objectives.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new clinical staff.
- Maintain team compliance with regulatory requirements and licensing.
- Travel up to 25% of the time for professional development and business needs.
Requirements
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with occasional flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Hold an active, unrestricted LCSW license in California, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as required.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience in a people management capacity.
- Have a minimum of 5 years in direct patient care as an LCSW, with at least 2 years focused on palliative care, hospice, or complex care management.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of cultural sensitivity relevant to the patient population.
- Proven track record as a leader experienced in managing change within fast-paced environments.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Possess excellent communication and motivational abilities, including conflict resolution strategies.
- Previous experience working remotely, with proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications.
