Junior Scrum Master

About the role

This position supports Vonage's ongoing Agile transformation by fostering strong Agile practices within teams. You will gain practical experience in implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and contribute to maximizing team value delivery.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Guide and develop teams in adopting Agile principles and methods.
• Use performance data to help teams improve and focus on continuous enhancement.
• Facilitate clear communication and active involvement among team members and with stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve obstacles that impede team progress.
• Assist Release Train Engineers with planning and conducting SAFe events, including PI Planning.

Requirements

• Understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to promote collaboration.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to track progress.
• Resilient and adept at problem-solving, contributing to solutions.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
• Ability to adjust and improve in a changing environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in project management, software development, or Agile roles.
• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
