Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

You will build tools and infrastructure to improve the daily workflow of our product and AI engineering teams. This role focuses on increasing developer velocity by creating intuitive self-service systems and maintaining a reliable, high-performance backend environment.

What you'll do

• Design and build infrastructure for complex, time-sensitive microservices.
• Create and deploy self-service tools that reduce friction for internal developers.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and hybrid environment processes.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including Generative AI, into our platform.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high platform availability and performance.
• Mentor team members on scalability, code quality, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with AI, data, and product departments to align technical execution with business goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in backend or platform engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Linux shell commands and Bash.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus or the ELK stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Background in cloud infrastructure management.
• Self-directed learning habits and interest in adopting new technologies.
