Senior Algorithm Developer at viz.ai.
About the role
Viz.ai is seeking a Senior Algorithm Developer to join our Artificial Intelligence team in Tel Aviv. You will build and refine AI models and agentic workflows to improve clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.

What you'll do
- Architect and build scalable AI algorithms and agentic workflows for clinical environments.
- Clean, process, and evaluate complex medical datasets for model validation.
- Maintain production-grade algorithms through testing, monitoring, and iterative performance tuning.
- Partner with clinical experts and product managers to turn medical requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate text-based models to extract insights from medical documentation.
- Utilize NLP and LLMs to create intelligent agents that assist in clinical support.
- Keep current with advancements in Generative AI, Deep Learning, and LLM architectures.
- Engage in internal knowledge sharing through seminars and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in algorithm development using Python.
- Strong background in software engineering with a focus on clean and efficient code.
- Deep expertise in NLP, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
- Proven track record of deploying and supporting AI algorithms in live production environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a cross-functional team of engineers, clinicians, and product managers.
Nice to have
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure.
- Background in the medical or healthcare technology domain.
- M.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Science or a related scientific field.
