Join our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) team to transform complex data into effective defenses against financial crime. In an AI-driven environment, you will focus on sophisticated threat detection and building advanced security measures.

What you'll do

• Examine data related to fraud, money laundering, and user behavior to identify weaknesses in current detection methods and areas for improvement.
• Analyze user activity to distinguish normal transactions from potentially illicit ones.
• Develop, implement, and refine detection strategies for fraud, anti-money laundering, and sanctions compliance.
• Research new criminal tactics and propose solutions to counter them.
• Optimize fraud detection rates while minimizing disruption to legitimate users.
• Conduct controlled tests and A/B analyses to assess the impact of changes on fraud levels and alert accuracy.
• Review alerts, analyze incorrect detections, and enhance the precision of our systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to advance risk models, alerting systems, and automated processes.
• Utilize AI and LLM tools to speed up investigations and analysis.
• Produce clear, visual reports on risk trends, the effectiveness of detection rules, and current threats.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a product analyst capacity.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries efficiently.
• Strong command of data visualization tools.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools in your analytical workflow, not just experimental use.
• Ability to translate data insights into clear business explanations, even for complex topics.
• Upper-intermediate English language skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of applied probability theory and mathematical statistics, including A/B testing and causal inference.
• Experience using Python for data analysis, including libraries like NumPy and Pandas.
• Background in risk management, compliance, or fraud prevention.
