About the role
You will lead the expansion of our partnership ecosystem in Germany by connecting with channels that influence local businesses. This role requires a balance of cold-outreach dealmaking and the ongoing management of our existing affiliate network.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Identify, negotiate, and launch new partnerships with software providers, business advisors, and founder communities.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of a partnership from initial discovery to commercial launch and long-term scaling.
- Design deal structures including rev-share, CPA, bundles, and referrals to ensure profitable growth.
- Maintain the affiliate channel by managing relationships, handling settlements, and onboarding new partners.
- Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and refine KPIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Partnerships with a proven history of end-to-end deal sourcing.
- Professional fluency in both German and English.
- Ability to build consultative business cases using data rather than generic sales pitches.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on protecting unit economics.
- Experience managing diverse stakeholders ranging from local tax advisors to SaaS leadership teams.
- An AI-first mindset, utilizing automation and AI tools to handle research, drafting, and routine workflows.
- A self-directed work style with a disciplined approach to follow-through.
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, payments, SaaS, or B2B products serving SMBs.
- Experience with advisory, embedded, or community-based partnership channels.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and AI-driven productivity tools.
- Experience working in international, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the German founder and SMB market.
