Module Process Manager M/F
Job description
About the Role
Verkor seeks a Module Process Manager to lead the development of assembly operations at its future gigafactory in Bourbourg, France. This position is central to executing the company's strategy for low-carbon battery production in Europe. The manager will own the end-to-end realization of module assembly workflows, ensuring alignment with Verkor innovation and quality standards. Success in this role will directly enable the startup of the Dunkirk facility and the scale-up of European mobility solutions. The role reports to the Process Engineering leadership and acts as a bridge between technical design and floor execution. You will guide cross-functional teams to resolve issues, validate methods, and maintain strict adherence to project timelines. Your decisions will define the efficiency and robustness of the module assembly lines. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Bourbourg, Hauts-de-France.
Key Facts

- Define the intake criteria for all incoming materials and establish the acceptance standards that determine whether components can enter the production stream.
- Design the initial process flows for module assembly and validate these sequences rigorously during early production trials to confirm operational feasibility.
- Analyze test data, identify deviations, and adjust assembly sequences to stabilize performance before any scale-up activities begin.
- Distribute routine process updates to floor teams and maintain clear documentation of every change to ensure traceability and transparency.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to ensure that all module handling tools integrate seamlessly with the facility standards and operational constraints.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews to verify that assembly methods meet engineering targets and regulatory expectations across the value chain.
- Guide technicians through the implementation of revised module assembly instructions directly on the shop floor, translating engineering requirements into executable steps.
- Track quality indicators throughout the trial phases on a daily basis and propose corrective actions the moment trends shift to prevent systemic issues.
- Own the end-to-end realization of module assembly workflows, ensuring that every step aligns with Verkor innovation and quality standards.
- Act as a decisive leader whose choices define the efficiency and robustness of the module assembly lines from day one.
- Ensure the module assembly process is reliable, repeatable, and ready for mass production without compromise on safety or quality.
- Serve as the primary bridge between technical design teams and floor execution to maintain alignment and accelerate problem-solving.
