National Channel Sales Manager, CDW at Verkada.
About the role
This individual contributor role focuses on expanding Verkada's market presence by building and managing relationships with CDW as a key direct market reseller. You will be responsible for generating new business and developing strategic plans to achieve significant growth through this channel. Your work will involve close collaboration with various internal teams to enhance Verkada's national footprint, particularly across CDW's East Coast offices and their Illinois headquarters.

What you'll do
- Identify and create new business opportunities within CDW, working with field sales teams to close high-value deals.
- Develop and manage a specific partner business plan for your territory, aligning with company goals and quarterly sales targets.
- Educate CDW executives, sales teams, and technical staff on Verkada's product range, programs, and campaigns.
- Partner with Verkada's sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams for joint activities like events and demand generation.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track progress, celebrate achievements, and find areas for improvement.
- Encourage CDW sales teams to prioritize Verkada in their deals and business planning.
- Lead and participate in various events to increase brand recognition and strengthen partner relationships.
- Manage the entire partner engagement cycle in your region, from onboarding to revenue generation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in channel sales or partner management, with a proven history of developing new business specifically within CDW.
- Must live near a major CDW office, with a preference for Chicago or the Greater New York Area (NY, NJ, CT).
- Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time across the U.S., including to East Coast CDW office locations.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels, from sales representatives to executive leadership.
- Comfortable discussing technical products and sales operations.
- Proficient with Salesforce, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
