Senior Marketing Operations Manager

About the role

Verkada is seeking a hands-on professional to build the operational foundation for our marketing campaigns and lead the integration of AI into our workflows. You will design scalable systems that improve execution speed and data quality while partnering with cross-functional teams to modernize our marketing infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Identify and execute opportunities to apply AI and automation to campaign operations, lead management, and reporting.
• Build and maintain agents, integrations, and internal tools using platforms like Gumloop, Claude, Workato, and Retool.
• Manage the technical infrastructure for marketing, including Salesforce and Marketo workflows, lead routing, and data governance.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to redesign end-to-end processes rather than automating individual tasks.
• Monitor system health and data quality to ensure reliable, scalable performance across multi-region campaigns.
• Develop prototypes into documented, reusable systems and provide training to team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Systems, or related fields.
• Hands-on technical proficiency with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform such as Marketo or HubSpot.
• Experience building and deploying functional automations, integrations, or AI-powered workflows.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A continuous-improvement mindset focused on efficiency and system reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools including n8n, Zapier, SQL, Python, or TypeScript.
• Background in developing or maintaining reusable AI prompts, agents, or templates.
• Familiarity with MCP servers.
