Channel Sales Manager at Verkada.
About the role
This role involves expanding Verkada's market presence by building and managing a network of high-performing reseller partners. You will be responsible for generating new business through these channels, creating sales pipelines, and executing strategic plans for growth. This position requires both strategic planning and direct execution, working with sales, marketing, and partner teams to increase Verkada's footprint in LATAM.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Identify and generate new customer pipelines through strategic reseller partners, collaborating with field sales teams to close opportunities.
- Develop and manage a focused partner business plan for your assigned territory, aligning with Verkada's overall market objectives and quarterly sales targets.
- Train and enable partner executives, sales teams, and technical staff on Verkada's product portfolio, programs, and campaigns.
- Work with Verkada's internal sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams on joint activities such as partner events and demand generation campaigns.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to align priorities, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Encourage partner sales teams to prioritize Verkada in key deals and business planning, and suggest improvements to Verkada's channel tools and partner programs.
- Lead and participate in regional in-person and virtual events to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships with partners.
- Manage the entire partner engagement lifecycle in your region, from onboarding and enablement to pipeline development and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Experience in channel sales or partner management with a proven record of building new business through Security Integrators or IT VAR partners.
- A process-driven approach combined with innovative thinking to create scalable, partner-focused initiatives.
- Ability to influence and engage individuals at all levels, from partner sales representatives to executive leadership.
- Comfort discussing products and sales operations, with proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
