About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Veridic Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing scalable full-stack applications within the Amazon ecosystem. You will work on enterprise-scale inventory management systems and contribute to various initiatives, including AI integration and cloud-native solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications tailored for the Amazon environment.
• Create new features and capabilities for enterprise-level inventory management systems.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code adhering to Amazon's engineering standards.
• Design and implement APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services and Amazon Builder Tools.
• Participate in AI integration projects, DevOps processes, automated testing, deployment, and system optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, test, debug, and enhance applications for optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in software development.
• At least 1 year of practical experience with Amazon Builder Tools while employed at Amazon or AWS.
• Over 8 years of experience in backend application development using Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar languages.
• Minimum of 3 years of frontend development experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale software applications.
• Proficient in developing cloud-native solutions using AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with the following AWS services:
• AWS Lambda
• Step Functions
• SQS
• SNS
• DynamoDB
• CloudWatch
• RDS
• Redshift
• S3
• OpenSearch
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, deployment, and DevOps best practices.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
