Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Account Partners to manage the complete presales process for potential clients throughout China.
- Engage with business leaders and users to identify operational challenges, business goals, and regulatory issues.
- Create, customize, and deliver impactful product demonstrations, workshops, and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) that showcase the value of Veeva Quality.
- Oversee the technical aspects of complex sales cycles, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Independently maintain and innovate the Veeva Quality demo environments to reflect actual GMP manufacturing scenarios in China.
- Serve as a domain expert, representing Veeva at industry events, webinars, and user meetings.
- Work collaboratively with Global Product Management, Professional Services, and Strategy teams to relay feedback from GMP customers in China.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software pre-sales (Solution Consulting) within the Life Sciences drug manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on plant-level operations (e.g., QMS, MES, LIMS, Plant WMS, EAM, or SCADA/Automation software).
- Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise software sales processes, with excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills for executive audiences.
- Technical proficiency in configuring cloud software and independently managing demo environment setups.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
- Willingness to travel about 30-40% for customer interactions, primarily within China.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud solutions and technology.
- Experience with Pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory workflows and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or REST APIs/SDKs) with a keen interest in AI technology.
