Strategic Venture Capital Partnerships Manager

About the role

Vanta is seeking a founding member for its Venture & Startup Partnerships team in EMEA. This role focuses on expanding Vanta's presence within the London startup and VC community, driving adoption of Vanta's trust and compliance platform among early-stage companies. You will be instrumental in establishing key relationships and supporting Vanta's growth strategy in the region.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain relationships with founders, operators, VCs, and accelerators within the London startup and VC ecosystem.
• Provide support to existing VC and accelerator partnerships, including enablement, founder introductions, and portfolio engagement.
• Attract founders to Vanta through various initiatives like events, workshops, and office hours.
• Collaborate with Sales, SDRs, and Marketing teams to convert ecosystem engagement into pipeline and product adoption.
• Help manage structured partnership programs, covering onboarding, events, and deal support.
• Represent Vanta at startup and VC events, demo days, and other gatherings across London and EMEA.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in startups, venture capital, accelerators, partnerships, business development, or early-stage sales.
• Strong familiarity with the London startup and VC ecosystem, gained from previous roles as a founder, operator, or in VC/platform capacities.
• High energy and strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine enjoyment for networking and relationship building.
• An interest in go-to-market strategies and revenue impact, understanding how partnerships contribute to pipeline and growth.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining value to both founders and internal teams.
• A results-oriented mindset, comfortable managing programs, events, and follow-ups with guidance.
• Ability to work in-person in London as required.
• Openness to using AI to enhance skills and work, demonstrating curiosity and responsible application for efficiency.
