Senior Product Manager, GRC Platform

About the role

Vanta is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our GRC Platform. This role is central to enhancing how mid-market and enterprise clients manage their compliance and security programs, especially with the integration of AI. You will shape core functionalities that empower users to operate efficiently and at scale.

What you'll do

Develop and guide the strategic direction and product roadmap for the GRC Platform, creating essential components and user-facing features used across Vanta's compliance offerings.

Translate intricate challenges and opportunities into clear product objectives, guiding the engineering team's focus and ensuring high-quality delivery through collaboration with various departments.

Work closely with other GRC teams to gain a thorough understanding of customer requirements, identify areas where the platform can provide broader value, and transform these insights into intuitive, automated user experiences.

Spearhead product enhancements that prioritize AI, defining criteria for model assessment and managing the transition from existing features to AI-driven workflows.

Contribute to defining and fostering the culture of Vanta's product management organization as it expands.

Requirements

Possess over 5 years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years focused on platform or horizontal products within a B2B SaaS environment.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of platform product development, with a proven history of creating shared components or capabilities adopted by multiple product and engineering teams.

Exhibit cross-functional leadership skills, capable of influencing and aligning various teams without direct authority, and bringing clarity to complex stakeholder groups.

Show technical proficiency, including comfort with backend infrastructure, architectural considerations, API standards, and data model decisions.

Have experience with AI product development, including driving AI-first redesigns and establishing model evaluation metrics for features like imports, search, or structured agent interactions.

Maintain a data-driven approach, with the ability to define and monitor adoption rates, quality indicators, and the business impact of platform initiatives.

Have experience working with enterprise-level clients (organizations with 10,000+ employees) and translating their feedback into platform priorities.

This role is fully remote within the U.S.
