Vanta is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our design system and front-end platform. This pivotal position will influence how various teams at Vanta create cohesive and high-quality user experiences efficiently. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Vanta's user interface and establishing a robust design system function within the organization.

What you'll do
- Establish the product vision and strategic roadmap for the front-end, focusing on the design system and platform investments that align with the company's goals.
- Enhance the design system by creating modular building blocks with standardized APIs, incorporating AI and large language model capabilities.
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving accessibility and internationalization, ensuring compliance with global localization and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate closely with the AI team to empower product teams in crafting next-generation Vanta experiences.
- Oversee the deployment and adoption of updates to the design system, while managing quality assurance and issue resolution for the product craft team.
- Work in tandem with engineering and design leaders to prioritize impactful projects.
- Strategically plan for the scalability of the design system and front-end platform over the next 12 to 18 months, including the integration of AI-native applications.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across teams, ensuring that the design system serves as a valuable internal resource for all product teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in product management, specifically with direct responsibility for a design system, front-end platform, or experience in a developer/design capacity across multiple teams.
- A strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship, with the ability to implement these standards across various teams and build credibility with senior design and product leaders.
- A builder's mindset, capable of creating prototypes and demonstrations using the same building blocks that your team develops.
- Ability to cultivate consensus and trust throughout the organization, acting as a supportive internal platform for all product teams.
- A systematic approach to understanding how components, tokens, patterns, and infrastructure interact and impact all product surfaces.
- Proficient in articulating the business value of front-end and design system investments to leadership and stakeholders.
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring future sponsorship from an employer.

This position is fully remote within the United States.
